During an initial psychiatric evaluation, patients are assessed for a variety of psychiatric disorders. If necessary, we reach out to the patient’s therapist and any other relevant individuals to ensure a comprehensive assessment. After reaching the proper diagnosis, we provide specific recommendations. This may include a referral to see a therapist, medication recommendations, or a combination of both.
